Remian's Language Club gives you the opportunity to express yourself as a student through writing. It’s a platform where your ideas, creativity, and voice can come to life whether through articles, stories, or reflections. Here, every student gets a chance to grow, share, and be heard.
Our Founding President ~ Rafee Mizan Khan Niloy
Remian’s Language Club (RLC) was founded out of a very specific and widely shared academic challenge. Many students in our context grow up learning complex subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Bangla, developing a strong conceptual understanding in their native language. However, during crucial academic transitions particularly admission tests and higher education they are suddenly required to engage with the same concepts in English.
Remians Language Club presents “ধ্বনি”, the official magazine of our club a platform where creativity, ideas, and student voices come together.
For years, “ধ্বনি” has carried the spirit of our club through writings, artwork, reflections, interviews, and achievements created by talented students and members.
With 8 successful editions released so far, “ধ্বনি” has become more than just a magazine it is a collection of memories, thoughts, and the evolving journey of our club. Every edition reflects the passion, dedication, and creativity of the students behind it.
No. Remians Language Club (RLC) is an institutional club, and its membership is strictly limited to Dhaka Residential Model College students only.
The club is officially operated within Dhaka Residential Model College, and all core members, organizers, and internal participants must be students of the institution. This helps maintain proper structure, coordination, and alignment with the college’s extracurricular framework.
However, while membership is exclusive, RLC often organizes various events such as spelling bees, olympiads, seminars, and workshops where students from other institutions may be invited to participate, depending on the event type and guidelines.
In short:
Club membership: Only DRMC students
Events and competitions: Sometimes open to other institutions
